Nandu Jubany’s solidarity masks continue breaking records

The arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic marked the beginning of a beautiful solidarity project between Nandu Jubany and Joan Ramón from CSTY. To support pandemic research, the #ConUnaSonrisa (With a Smile) campaign was launched. The campaign raises funds for research projects initiated by IDIBELL in collaboration with Bellvitge University Hospital and the Catalan Institute of Oncology, aimed at stopping COVID-19 and preventing new outbreaks. Gabriel Capellá, Director of IDIBELL, says: “We have nearly 40 ongoing studies trying to cover all angles of COVID, from genetic analyses of the most severe patients or those who have overcome the disease, to innovative therapeutic strategies and ongoing clinical trials.” For every mask pack sold, €5 is donated to the aforementioned projects, and to date, we have raised over €16,000. On our website, there is a counter where you can check the number of masks sold. We are more than happy with the funds raised so far and hope to keep up this momentum and contribute our part.
